Viking Direct NEVER REPLY TO EMAILS, so why provide this facility if you’re going to ignore customers?
They’ve started to send unwarranted direct marketing to my home address that I never signed up for, so called and emailed them to take all my personal details off their database urgently and to close down the account.
I only bought one item from them that I returned, which for some unknown reason also required membership.
Have sent numerous emails quoting GDPR regulations, which they’re either ignoring to keep me hooked into their business against my will ;-) or unresponsive because they are lazy. It’s not on and fed up at having to chase them to remove my details.
They’ve just replied on Trustpilot with a standard non-response to this poor review - adding that they’ll respond, however - yet again failed to respond to my original emails.
Hilarious if it wasn’t so disappointing!
If you want a company that has zero communication and emotional intelligence, then by all means use them because they’re first-class at ignoring customers ;-)
