The so-called Voom Deluxe carpet and Floor Cleaner is horrible. The company claimed hair would not get stuck in the roller, but it did and the machine ground to a halt. Also, it did not empty the accumulated dirt & debris at the push of a button as illustrated in the commercial. I had to physically remove the dirt and debris with my hand. Finally, the machine does NOT maneuver well on carpets. Very hard to handle on even a flat area rug like the one I have in my living room.
