Useful. It can power almost any stable device. In addition to the most obvious devices, you want to power (laptops, phones, tablets, etc.), on the list are electric blankets, certain refrigerators, tool batteries, fans, grills, TVs, video consoles, small blenders, pumps, small heaters, and even CPAP machines and electric scooters! In operation, it's quiet here, with little to no hum.
