BEWARE!! I purchased a new Rolex from an appointed Rolex store in June 2022. After buying the watch I decided that I didn't actually like it, however it is still as new with the original stickers, card etc. Not being sure as to the best way to sell it i decided to go to Watchfinder. I emailed pictures etc and was contacted by one of the buyers (Nicola). She offered me a figure of £5400-£5600 subject to inspection. I arranged to drop the watch at the store the following week for it to be sent away for inspection to confirm it was genuine. Before going I received another email from the same person stating that due to stocking levels their figure had reduced to £5200.00. I emailed her back to say that as long as that figure was set I would agree to let it go and took the watch to the store (a one hour drive). 7-days later I received another email saying that, again, due to stocking levels, they had further reduced the figure to £4750.00, at which time I asked them to return the watch and I drove the 1-hour distance to collect it. After checking the watch over with one of the sales assistants I noticed that the original store receipt was not with the watch. I now have to contact the Rolex store that I bought the watch from to request a duplicate. My advice is don't waste your time trying to sell your watch to watchfinder.
