I have water that has calcium in it. This filter is taking care of a lot of this issue. The only problem I have is me. For some reason it takes me awhile to get the new filter on correctly. I always end up with the sprayer at the top in stead of in the sink. Once I get it on correctly it is the best filter system for my needs.
