To be honest there are not enough police on the ground. More criminal activity over the last year especially I would say and the police are slow to act. I believe that since Coventry became part of West Midlands police. Policing our city Coventry has become worse. Police do not consider theft a priority and fob you off and take to long to check put cctv footage. Theft from stores are up and its not even worth reporting. They work in gangs. Grooming goes on. I know I reported it years ago. Gave a statement young police officer out of his depth God knows if anything was made of it. To be honest I'm not impressed at the service provided and believe every Town should have its own Police force and not be centralised. Who knows a city better than the cops who actually work there. I've lost a certain amount of trust and feel intimidated and unsafeby the level of theft burglary and guys hanging out in groups
