Interesting concept but not too useful if you are looking for something that your kid can ride on the top of it at the airport and then use as a extension bed type during the flight. I have an above average tall 2 years old and when she sits on the top of it she is not near touching the ground with her feet. She can easily do it with the usual "trunks" types in the market. The kid needs to be 4+ to be able to ride on it and touch the ground with their feet. In that case the kid is too big to use as an extension bed during the flight.
