Every time we have gone into West Marine in South Burlington, Vermont, Melinda has been cheerful and immensely helpful! Sometimes the store is jam packed and she's working alone, but she still receives us with a smile and takes the time to answer our questions in ways that have greatly helped us as we navigate sailboat ownership. Best of all, when we were seeking a Garmin, she pointed out one that was on sale, and helped us understand how it works. Just can't say enough good about her!! If every person who works at West Marine were as knowledgeable about what is in the store and how it's used, and as cheerful and helpful as Melinda is, it would definitely be the Go To place for mariners!
