I gave the watch 5 stars because it's a beautiful piece in every way and exceeded my expectations. However, if there had been an option for 4.5 stars I would have gone for it. The design of the strap buckle is not good and you should re-think it. The strap is very nice and matches up very well with the watch. However, the buckle doesn't sit flush against the strap and instead sort of sticks out at the edges. It's almost as if the buckle is upside-down. With that exception, the watch is amazing. It's retro in all the right ways and evokes the spirit of the great pilot watches from the past without overdoing it. I look forward to wearing it for many years.
