My passport was sent to me from Egypt to Saudi Arabia on November 1st 2020, After long delay , i contacted Aramex several times , their replies were always vague & non specific. Only after complaining to Saudi Communications and Information Technology Commission, they answered to them & to me that the parcel was lost. These shocking news caused tremendous irreparable harm to me as the passport contained valuable data which is impossible to retrieve. After a long terrible communication with uncoordinated, poorly trained customer care they said that their compensation policy is from $ 25:100 whatever the value of the parcel (they charged $ 65 to ship the passport). this means that the real compensation will be $35 , if they pay the maximum compensation according to them. Is $ 35 a fair compensation for a lost passport?
