Pretty awful 'sausage factory' legal firm (in my opinion) Our case handler was obviously pretty inexperienced and wasted a lot of time. One example is that we were put through a CREDAS (money laundering) check, which took a week and was completely unnecessary. We were eventually told (by them) that we could have paid our current lender direct and avoided the whole thing. I estimate we lost about £500 because we slipped off our fixed rate while they dithered. Also, they do checks etc one after the other, when they could be doing them together. Complete waste of time. Never had an experience like this with a conveyancer before. Not recommended at all.
