For some unknown reason, I thought thus bed was a duvan that would come in two pieces, so did not expect to receive a flat pack box and to ensemble the bed myself. My fault for not looking at the details properly. Perhaps clear description may help, unless I missed it. Nevertheless, delivey guy was really helpful, managed to ensemble it myself over 4 hours as I am disabled and I desperately needed a bed as was sleeping on the floor on a mattress. Was sore for a few days after, could have done with an electric screw driver for all the screws on the slates. It was a balancing act to assemble the main frame and had to ensure that the bolt's/ screws were not tightened to their limit before attaching the next bit, so was readjusting all the time to get it all fitting together well, (suppose that is the nature of self assembly), Managed to put it together which was the main thing, a little too small for my King size mattress but it will do for the price I paid, it was good value and when ensembled very sturdy, well as sturdy as I could get it with my limited strength.
