As a parent I feel quite confident in ‘old school’ maths methods. However, when my year 3 child comes home with his maths homework, the methods he needs to use is mind boggling. I have YouTubed methods, I have asked for support from my son’s school but unfortunately I can’t keep asking them every week. Curious Maths is a one-stop website for maths. It has been phenomenal in my understanding of the methods used in schools and now I can support my child at home.
