I needed an upgrade when my refurbished black and red Beats headset completely died. These outperform the old pair in every way: better fit, smoother buttons/controls, longer battery life, and never a problem pairing to my iPod or other devices. They're also much easier to collapse, and the sound quality is superb...especially if you like deep/rich bass. Totally worth the extra money
