Solid item, they haven't skimped on materials as you can feel from the weight. Hinge pins seem a little light but I assume they've done their testing for longevity. Haven't tried to compare juice extraction with similar sized fruit yet but seems comparable to other. Very easy to use, you could squeeze a dozen fruits without getting sore hands or wrists. Not sure that the pip catcher does much but since I mainly use limes it's not an issue. Definitely worth purchasing the original genuine item over K Mart knockoff. Overall very happy with purchase.
