I am very pleased with my EnviMAX 220v Hardwired Electric Panel Wall Heater - 1000 Watts (EM1022D). The template/hardware allowed for quick, easy, and accurate mounting. The unit is quiet, attractive, and most importantly, provides all the heat I need for my 12'x11' basement bedroom. I called customer service one time and was able to talk to a real person on the first try. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my heater and have since ordered another for my basement office. I would inform customers who order the hard-wire units that placement of the in-wall outlet box is critical. Since the unit pigtail must run up the back of the unit, its origin must be very close to the outlet box; otherwise you cannot mount the unit flush to the wall. Wiring the pigtail and hiding it in the outlet box and the heater cavity was a little difficult. I scratched the wall trying several times to get the unit mounted. It was not really an issue since they were behind the unit. Maybe an additional outline on the template for an in-wall outlet for hard-wired units could help. Donald Omohundro Columbia, IL.
