I stumbled across the heat on a semi desperate search to find a back up heat source for a basement bedroom in an Airbnb we just bought. The previous owners told us that the bedroom downstairs heated up just fine, that might be the case if you don’t care about your guests, but we don’t want people freezing to death here in the southeast. I digress, the big thing I was looking for was something that I could adjust remotely. Left to their own. I’m sure guests would turn it up to 80°, which is fine while they’re staying here, but might forget to turn it back down when they leave it seems like the heater is efficient, but I would still rather not pay for that. The upside is it gives my basement a back up heat source to keep the utility room above freezing. We in North Carolina so it doesn’t get that cold, but I’d still rather not deal with damaged pipes. The icing on the cake is that it’s US made. Politically I’m left of center however I still believe in the quality of American manufacturers for now. It’s my preference when I’m buying something once and buying it right.
