I am actually somewhat disappointed in the product. It is sold as capable of heating a room up to 135 sf or so and, as a resuilt, I expected that my mud room that is 6' x 10' would be kept warm. Instead, I find that even with the temp set at 74 F, it takes the chill out but really doesn't keep it warm and toasty. In retrospect, the larger 1000 W heater would presumably have done a better job but, based on my experience with the 500 W unit, I wouldn't at this point give it a try.
