Overall they work better than any other stud I have used. They seem to not wear down at all over many many walks though the stream and over tons of stone.
Caution, you can over tighten them easily and sink them to far into you boot. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is I wish the had a wider flange which would help keep them from going to deep into the boot.
