Furnace prices are extremely inaccurate, website states average furnace for a 1500 sf house is $3900. Totally understand its an "average". The subcontractor for home depot quoted me $6500-$7200 for my 1178 sf home(RT Heating&AC). Not extra work, just the furnace replacement. Very misleading information, when brought up to home depot they were all full of excuses. Waste of my time and hopefully help other customers not get "bent over the rails" -March/2022 Red Deer, Alberta, Canada Also got a local company to quote and came at 4k. Almost half the price.
