The laser engraved granite memorial plaque I bought for placement in our church was beautifully finished, with polished surfaces and smoothly edges (except those against the wall). The photo & text are clear, but have low contrast, so it needed to be placed where it is well-lit. (Fortunately, we just installed new LED light fixtures.)
