Delighted to discover this easy & clean way to feed the little birds. At first they refused to go near the feeder until I scooped out a little of the contents & left loose below. The robins especially love them so have had to buy two more feeders to avoid queueing.
Another good point, the feeders are very easy to refill especially with my arthritic hands
