Having been feeding my garden birds for some 27 years with husk free seed,usually mix 2 I am not surprised at how popular this is. Living on the outskirts of Eastbourne , in sight of the South Downs National Park We get a satisfying mix of birds recently this include a family of woodpeckers. I also feed “complete dried dog food” to to the Crow family ( crows, Jackdaws, jays, & Magpies) who are happy to scavenge any seed that falls from the feeder, some with the help of Jackdaws & Magpies . Finally the excellent “metal” feeders last far longer than the five year guarantee period and with a rain guard keep the seed dry and fresh with the minimum of effort from me. It goes without repeating I am delighted with the products I have purchased and the prompt and helpful service received .
