The store is really lovely and sufficiently luxurious with easily accessible from the centre, from the University metro station also. I like that the store is not right at the main street but slightly discreet maintaining it's hidden gem appeal. However, the appointment system is almost certainly the main disadvantage withdrawing the store's appeal as most often the luxury items are bought from the whim of the mind as a result of the window shopping and popping into the store to have a look of the times. The luxury items are not necessity items of a need. Persuasion, status maintenance and buttering of the customer are part of the integrated and sale procedure. Most of the shoppers want to be remembered and become the VIP customers or they go to the next door.
Secondly, the customer service is just about reasonable, like at any other store, making no difference to numerous boutiques in Helsinki. In no instance can one talk about the world-class luxury service from the LH. I can imagine customers getting furious for receiving no answer to the telephone call or merely a text message informing about the opening hours of the store.
It can also be noticed and inferred that the team is not trained for customer service, not up to date about the customer needs. Seems that the always lovely owner Ms. Warden is almost the only person doing the work. Thanks to her the store is beautiful and she tirelessly works for her business never saying no.
In short, the opening hours, responsiveness to calls and the luxury customer service are the main reason the store is not more successful. Adding the almost over priced items I hear some people saying, the founding concept and the need of the time goes wasted. I would really really want to she the founder's effort and genuinely kind nature to receive more success and rewards.
About the my recent sale and purchases, the better communication from the team is expected, also answers on call as I do not like texting🌹. My purchased item was not packed as I would expect from the luxury store, the brand suffers if it's not seen in the packaging.
I wish all the best for Ms Warden in her future endeavours and would be ready to recommend her without reservations.
