My PAG phone line with Lycamobile has £8 credit still but stopped making outgoing calls a few weeks ago. There are two stipulations with their PAYG: you either top up in a tree month period or you use some credit during a three month period. Either one of these keeps your phone number active.
Despite having used the phone to make charged calls and texts less than a month ago the number no longer makes outgoing calls.
I have spoken with them 3 times but they really are incompetent and struggle to understand their own terms. They have also ignored emails.
I have reported them to the telecoms ombudsman but they really shouldn’t be operating in the UK looking at all the complaints online.
