I bought the SIM card thinking that I could have a European SIM for periodic trips I was taking. I purchased a bundle for 20 pounds. I didn't see the automatic renewal clause (my bad). As it turns out if I only wanted it for a month I would have had to order it and cancel it the same day as it needs a 30 day notice of cancellation...so you're in for at least two months. Then when I started getting the monthly renewals, I tried various ways of getting a hold of them to cancel (online form, call centre, registering for self service) and each one of those mechanisms basically didn't work. I finally found another email address which they actually responded to (albeit very slowly). Too bad, conceptually this could have been great but the lack of clarity (or opt out option) for the monthly renewal makes it seem like a deliberate money grab, especially when coupled with really terrible customer service channels. I'm going to look for a more reliable service provider.
