Pickstar is a great option when you are unsure which celebrity you should use for your event. We received a wide variety of choices and we were able to select the perfect MC for our event. Although we were able to find a great fit for our event, my overall experience with Pickstar was not amazing. It started with a general chat about our event which I was then pushed into securing. I was open about our event being in the planning stages. Pickstar said this was fine and that we could just get an idea of who would be interested. When locking in our plans at a later stage, we were told that we couldn't change the requirements of the Pickstar add. Pickstar had secured their funds and then disappeared from the planning process. I was only able to get in touch with our MC in the days before the event. Our MC was amazing and I believe that using a platform like Pickstar was great in ensuring our MC needs were met. However, we will not be using Pickstar for our ongoing events each year as this trial booking was not very client focussed and I felt that besides having more MC options, using Pickstar didn't have any other benefits.
