Hi All, It was a great pleasure to have the opportunity to invite Matthew Pavlich to Geraldton to speak about such an important topic as Mental Health. From the start, Nick from Pickstar was a great help and provided me with support to navigate throughout the process. Being part of local government, I am required to follow detailed procedures, so thank you, Nick, for your patience. If it weren't for you, I would not be able to make this happen. I find the website very user-friendly, and I will use it in the future and recommend it to my colleagues. I must say that it makes the process of choosing and engaging with the keynote speaker very easy and straightforward. Regarding Matthew's speech, we have received great feedback from the community, City of Greater Geraldton staff and our executives. Matthew's presentation was very engaging and valuable, it clearly triggered the conversation about mental health within the community, which is what we were aiming for. Matthew charmed the audience with his warm personality, honesty and a good sense of humour, and I cannot thank him enough for this. We hope to have more opportunities like this to collaborate again in the future. I will be able to get some photos from our Communications Team during the next week. In the photos, you will see that the number of participants was lower than we anticipated. I believe this was due to the busy nature that we all experience at the end of the year. All attendees were genuine supporters of Matthew's carrier and had meaningful questions regarding mental health. And even If we made a change in only a few people's lives, it was 100% worth it.
