I'm about to be an OAP and in a moment of madness decided I should attempt 'couch to 5k'. My reading suggested running shoes and socks were essential. Run North West stocked the best shoes and socks at the best price. They were at my door almost before I'd pushed the order button. My first steps towards 5k were surprisingly painless and I have no doubt that it is due to the lovely shoes. I would highly recommend Run North West.
