The scratch sleeves have helped my daughter with her hair pulling disorder (trichotillomania). They stop her from pulling her air out in the night when she is asleep. She also sucks her finger so we cut a hole in the sleeve to let that finger poke out and she can still suck it for comfort and self-soothing. Worn every night and quality lasts - she typically outgrows them every couple of years. The tops are used all year round. The jackets are great for hot weather to wear alone.
