I replaced a working $800 JL W6 with a $200 EVL 12D4 2 years ago. It's in a sealed box very close to spec. I absolutely love this sub, awesome SQ. Unfortunately the gasket failed just after 2 years (warranty period) I've tried to upload a pic of said blown gasket, but to no avail. Will you please consider improving the material used for your gaskets? As for customer service, I've yet to speak to ANY live rep, only automated responses. This was frustrating when I was trying to choose a product. I DID eventually get a helpful answer though.
