Bought an amp, I have two American bass xd12s that are dvc 4 ohm. Should be a great pair/setup. Amp claims to be 1 ohm stable “all day” and if I bump more than 30 minutes amp will throw into protection. Amp runs smoking hot, I have an amazing ground from chassis, 0 ga power ran from batt and have big 3 done, amp power sits at 14.2 perfect and gain is maybe 1/8 of the way up and it does sound good and make my subs bump really good but like I said, runs burning hot. I actually drove for half hour then half hour home and saw a little smoke. There is no clipping and I can’t find another issue that could cause the amp to run this way. But it was only 160 bucks so you do get what you pay for.
