Bought the Modesto in black. All the images of it on the website show the dial being darker than the rest of the aluminium bezel. In reality the glare and reflection of the glass (I was assured it has double anti reflective coating) make the very thin minute and hour marks pretty dim; in the photos they look possitively fluorescent. Apart from that, I like the watch a lot. It is thin, light, and I love that it's made in aluminium. Not many watches are made in this material. The leather strap is very supple too. I would have preffered the watch were 37~38 mm diameter (keeping the 20 mm wide strap) instead of 40, but I knew that before purchasing it.
