I got the Naos Automatic as a Christmas gift and I tought it was perfect at first, but then I got problems with the strap and the crown. After one month of normal use, I started noticing small cracks in the leather strap where it’s connected to the watch. It got worst and worst and after two months not much was holding it anymore so I reached customer service. They were comprehensive but reluctant to do anything. After further discussion, they eventually accepted to send me a new strap, which I was happy about. I am now extra careful making sure it never comes in contact with water and it seems to hold on. In my opinion the strap material and construction is of good quality but not great. But then another bigger problem came on. I came home one day and the crown was gone. I tried to find it but didn’t know when and where the crown came off. It was really disappointing. I reached custumer service again and I was told to be more careful, and that I was probably not using it properly. After some discussion they accepted to repair the watch. After a couple of weeks, I received my newly repaired watch and I was being extra extra careful when wearing it, particularly attentive so it doesn’t get caught in a sleeve, a bag handle, a door knob, etc. But even then the crown came off a few times, and being so alert, I was able to retrieve it and put it back in its socket. Until I came home one day and the crown was gone. I couldn’t find it anywhere. That’s when I was definitely deceived with my Sternglas watch. I mean, yes it looks fire, yes the saphyre glass doesn’t have the tiniest scratch, but without a functionnal crown it’s useless.
