Honestly, I'm amazed by how incompetent lactation consultants were at the hospital where I delivered (and I've heard similar stories from others too). On day one I had nipple damage because of the horrible advice I was given. On day 2 I decided to stop listening to their advice and referred back to the Thompson Method program. He's latched perfectly ever since. I am so grateful to have this information. I know my breastfeeding journey would have ended early without this program.
