My baby turned one yesterday, also marking one year of successful breastfeeding! Thank you to The Thompson Method for educating me on how to breastfeed—without this supportive community, I would have been very unprepared at the time of his birth. The journey has had its ups and downs, but I’ve loved being able to nurse through all the challenges. The bond I’ve developed with my baby through breastfeeding is so special to me, and I’ll cherish the memories of this time for life. He’s been weaning himself a couple months already, so I’m not sure how much longer our journey will continue, but I’ll keep offering feeds a few times a day as long as it works for us.
