I had EVLA 4 months ago and sclerotherapy over 2 months ago and my legs look worse than before the treatment. The EVLA was very painful on my left leg and I had to ask for a break during the surgery and following the surgery for 8 weeks I could not even touch my leg due to the pain. Large spider veins were casued due to the surgery and then the sclerotherapy that followed has created even more, which I didn't have before. I have a number of large blue veins that have not been treated and I was told to return in 6 months and so I am very unhappy how my legs look for this summer. I am very disappointed and have paid nearly £4,000. I have had sclerotherapy many times and not had these results. The consultant and nurse were very professional and friendly, but unfortunately I won't return to the clinic.
