We applied for car insurance for my son three days ago and decided to cancel it immediately. Despite the cancellation request falling within the 14-day cooling-off period, the company still took payment and has refused to issue a full refund.
Each time I contacted customer service, I was told they couldn’t speak to me as I’m not the policyholder. When my son—who is the policyholder—called, they only agreed to refund half the amount. This is completely unacceptable.
The company’s refusal to honour the cooling-off period, coupled with dismissive and unhelpful customer service, has been deeply frustrating. It’s not just about the money—it’s about the lack of accountability and disregard for basic consumer rights.
I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this provider.
