We were very hesitant to book our private lodge through South African Hotels. While we were on Expedia, South African Golf’s name popped up with a price less than what we could get through Expedia. But this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip traveling from the U.S.A. and we had no prior knowledge of South African Hotels. To re-assure ourselves that the company is legitimate, we contacted the lodge directly and they assured us that South African Hotels is, in fact, a legitimate travel/booking company. The staff was exceptionally accommodating via our e-mail correspondence. Our other concern was booking the lodge prior to our having a confirmed flight from Cape Town to the Hoedspruit Airport. So we arranged a mutual time; I booked the airline flight, informed South African Hotels of our confirmed flight and they immediately then booked the lodge. I would 100% use them in the future both because of their service and good pricing.
