I am not a dog owner but have friends and relatives who are. Buying gifts etc for them and their loved (four-legged) ones could have been more straightforward. In the end I had to be devious and invent my own dog "x". The greyhound wedding card was well-received and the beagle birthday card is ideal. Maybe you don't want to go down the route of opening the site to well-wishers?
