BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! I ordered a Skoda Kamiq from this lot back in July and was given an estimated delivery of Nov/Dec 2022 and they even had the front to say they could hold the car for us as I clearly explained to them that our current lease wasn't up until February 2023! My wife an I had pondered over this a great deal as there is no way we can be left without a car for work etc,I must just say WE KNOW THERE ARE DIFFICULTIES GETTING NEW CARS!! so I think we've exhausted that excuse Yes Lease! But after having a few discussions with Becky and Co they gave a very positive view that the car would turn up around that time so we placed the order (worse thing we ever did!) Now months have passed and no date of when or if the car is going to turn up? There replies have included the option of leasing an alternative car in stock but all of their vehicles are very over priced compared to other companies and very little choice! So we found ourselves having to make the decision to cancel because just what else could we do in all reality! and have found a much better deal with another company for an in stock car that just so happens to be on the in stock cars Yes Lease have also but saving us a lot of money compared to their prices and only £99 fee which is fully refunded right up to 48 hours before you take delivery even if you cancel! So now the games start as straight away Becky and Co start quoting T&Cs, You owe us £600 cancelation fee on top of the £300 we've already given them 😳😡 (which with being such a large amount compared to others I think should be verbally told to you before you order) I have pointed out to them that they should have not been so optimistic with the delivery date even after I told them of our circumstances! after finally getting the supplying dealers name and order number out of them I placed a call with RRG SKODA and although the fleet sales we're most unhelpful I later called back as a new prospective buyer and had a conversation with a Salesman and gave him the spec etc of the car and asked for a lead time on a factory order for it, he replied 29 weeks plus, I asked had lead times gotten better or worse? his reply was differently better!!!! I then posed the question if I'd of ordered the said vehicle say 4 months ago would that lead time been any better? again he said no! I thanked him and put the phone down Right Yes Lease why did you give me a lead time much sorter than the RRG Salesman quoted me as this quoted time of yours is the main reason we placed the order, why o why are you so optimistic with your lead times? I put it to you it's to get orders. Also in recent correspondence which I must point out are all about Yes Lease and what a great service you provide etc etc we updated you every week etc etc we offered to change you to one of our over priced, Very overpriced cars etc etc. You also never gave me an update every week and in some instances I had to ask you for an update! The upset and worry you have caused us and this is what you call a personal service! What a joke, a very bad joke! My wife and I curse the day we gave you our order and £300 and will not be giving you anymore of our hard earned cash especially in the current economic, you need to go away and have a course on customer service as anyone with experience will tell you it's how let down customer's are treated when things go wrong not the other way! Perhaps I could understand a fee if customer's cancel off the cuff but that definitely definitely is not our case at all. P.S. we're not interested in any of your cut and paste replies.
