At 6pm, shortly after I have placed an order on Zavvi (and I mean like less than a few minutes), I have realised there was a mistake in my purchase (selected the wrong size for a hoody).
Naturally, I went into My Orders dashboard and select the "Cancel" option. I have even sent a cancellation message to the customer service team.
But In less than 20 minutes later, I received an email stating:

We have been unable to cancel the below item(s) from your order:
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Not even an explanation as to why the cancellation failed! And the cancellation was done mere MINUTES after the order was placed.
I went back to check on the order status, and it states that the order was:
Status: Awaiting Dispatch
So, they are saying the order has been packed and is awaiting dispatch in about 30 MINUTES, and this is done AFTER 6 PM? And they have done this KNOWING that I have sent a cancellation message in regards to this order, choosing to completely IGNORE it?
Returning isn't a great option either, as they will CHARGE YOU POSTAGE COST.
This is terrible customer service, and I would avoid Zavvi if I were you...
At least Amazon is WILLING to give a full refund, including the postage cost!
