“Generally it's a great app with support that does their job. Why 4 stars then? Well, I payed subscription 6 months ago, thinking I will start as self-employed from January. And then plans changed and I started in Q3, few days ago. However, when I started using the app, I had to go through automatized first steps. And the app assumed that I started as self-employed when I started subscription. And I had no other option to change that, but to check that I submitted taxes in some other way (not throguh Accountable). So, as a consequence I can not submit expenses before the registration (for instance that expense for Accountable subscription). It's great to make things automated, but there has to be a way to change things for cases which are not typical. As so far, I am still trying to explain to support what is my issue. No lack so far.”
Hi, thank you for your feedback. It's always possible to update your start date as Self-employed from your account settings > personal details.
If you don't see previous tax years, from the taxes page it's possible to add a tab for the corresponding year.
Also, toggle the "see all" at the top-right of the taxes page to view previous tax periods.
