“I have taken several "data security" related courses on the Advisera website and find them extremely helpful and well done. Furthermore, the possibility of following the courses completely free of charge represents a commendable effort on the part of Advisera to encourage constant growth in the students' skills, even regardless of whether they pass the final exam. From a professional point of view, a not negligible incentive to take the exam at the end of the course is undoubtedly represented by the final certification, whose intrinsic validity towards third parties (in particular employers and customers) is given by the accreditation of the courses by from a recognized accreditation body. Furthermore, Advisora's support has always been precise and timely on every occasion.”

“We used the ISO 27001 toolkit to boost our progress towards certification. The templates saved a lot of time to as we did not need to write everything from scratch. There is a clear setup and structure to setup the ISMS and a lot of supportive documentation to make it clear. I also like the additional references to blog posts which provide more information on the individual topics. One could argue that some of the documents are better in a spreadsheet setup (e.g. statement of applicability or risk register). We rebuilt these. But then again, you already have a template to work with. So you can easily build in a way that suits you best. Note that we already have experience with ISO and apart from the toolkit we did not use any expert time by Advisera (which is also provided with the toolkit).”
