“So easy and efficient to deal with. Living interstate is not an issue with African Drumming as there website allows you to browse and view vidoes of products (Dejembes) you may purchase. Phone and email contact was seamless and with quick follow ups. Delivery was well within stated expectations. Great range and advice.”

“I have bought quite a number of instruments and accessories from African Drumming. Each product has been as described, of high quality and arrived well packaged. African Drumming always seeks to minimise the transport costs, sends items promptly and I always expect that it takes some time for items to arrive as I live in a rather remote regional area. Buying items, especially musical instruments online has its challenges and I have contacted the staff at African Drumming on a number of occasions to get more information, even a video of the sound of a particular instrument. The staff has always replied kindly and promptly to any of my messages.”

“Simon and the Team at African Drumming were super friendly and experts on african drumming. They were extremely patient and took time to send videos plus answer all my questions. They are very consultative in their approach as they want to make sure they understand your goals/preferences and match a drum to yuor requirements. I bought a beautiful Primo Series 13.75" Guinea Djembe - Erikson and extremely happy with it”

“I’ve been attending Beginner Djembe course on Mondays, with our teacher Mikey - incredible enthusiasm, laughter and encourage throughout our lessons. We’ve also had the pleasure of having Abli teach us for a class, which was full of great rhythms and energy. The tuition is very well explained, tailored for beginners perfectly and a welcome space is always set where I feel completely comfortable…out of my usual comfort zone! In addition, the course itself is really well structured to build on memory and I leave feeling uplifted from a big boost of happy vibes and sense of accomplishment! Highly recommend.”

“This is not the first time I have purchased goat skin rounds and rope. Skins were beautifully prepared, one clean, one with hair..... rounds were round 😎. Rope as expected, quality and colour. I am always satisfied with my purchases from African Drumming. I use Simon's manual cranking tool to tighten rope during re-skinning. It works perfectly. I am not strong, but this equipment enables me to re-skin drums excellently...... 😉”
