“Great way to sample Washington, our leader was gracious, knowledgeable, and patient. The food was delicious. The Ford theater production, and its historical timeline with pictures added to our understanding. The Korean memorial at night was very moving. I recommend this trip!”

“This was my fourth trip with ACT and it was top notch!! New Orleans was fantastic!! The meals were great with one or exceptions but overall I got the taste of New Orleans! The Honey Swamp tour was great - wasn’t expecting to see raccoons living in the swap lands. The Cooking School and Riverboat ride were super. I’ll be back just have to pick another one soon!! Patti”

“Our Savannah & Charleston tour with American Classic Tours was a wonderful experience. We appreciate the fact that the tour was exactly as advertised. “We have traveled with different tour companies. This was our first one with American classics. We had an impressive presentation from J D at our senior community. The prices were more costly than other companies but the hotels and meals were first class.
Tricia was our tour director and did an excellent job .

“Our trip to Hawaii was well organized and the resorts that we stayed in were wonderful. The 9-1/2 hour plane ride to get there was a challenge but well worth it. The restaurants where we had breakfast and dinners was very good with many choices. The entertainment was always fun. If Hawaii wasn't so far away we would sign up to go again next year.”

“ACT is the way to travel! I’ve taken four tours to-date and enjoyed them all. Bernadette and Elizabeth are professional, friendly and responsive when booking the tours. Generally, you receive your flight info, high level itinerary and details for the Vamoos app one month prior to the tour. Then, a detailed itinerary is provided 1-2 days prior to departure via the app. The Vamoos app is easy to use, keeps the group updated and allows for photo sharing.
Once at the airport, ACT is there to greet you and assist with check-in. Kirsten has been a welcomed friendly smile each tour I’ve taken. Then, your Tour Director guides you through the rest of the trip. The local guides have all been unique, knowledgeable and professional. Hotel and meal accommodations have never disappointed, and I appreciate the occasional opportunity to explore on my own.
Jim has been a fantastic Tour Director who keeps the group on time, as well as provides entertainment such as music trivia, maps and historical information for the longer bus rides between destinations. He ensures everyone feels included and makes every effort to make those with mobility challenges as comfortable as possible.
I’ve taken tours with my parents and by myself. I have always felt safe and have found my fellow ACT travelers to be warm and welcoming. Experienced travelers will appreciate the thoughtful planning, or if you’re shy, a solo traveler or just nervous about traveling – ACT is the company to trust for a great experience!”
