“Our American Classics Tour was as advertised and more. It was first class all the way! Our guide, Brendon, was exceptional, knowledgeable, accommodating, a lot of fun, and very capable. I especially appreciated the moment of silence and reflection every morning on the coach, followed by singing. Our coach driver, John, was exceptional with his concerns for our safety, getting our luggage where it needed to be - and many other "behind the scenes" chores that he did for our comfort.
The sightseeing, accommodations, meals, - all outstanding. That part of our great country is so truly beautiful! The Red Cliffs Lodge is a real gem - keep that one! That was my favorite hotel.
I appreciated the stops/photo ops for Forest Gump's Hills, Wilson Arch , Mexican Hat Rock, and others. Those were "extras" which Brendon pointed out to us. I will also add here that Brendon gave us plenty of information, yet he didn't talk all the tiime. Our coach tavel times were somewhat lengthy, but necessary.
I appreciated just relaxing and enjoying the view! The itinerary was wonderful - Salt Lake City, all the Parks, - Arches was my favorite. The sky was a bit overcast when we were at the Grand Canyon, and it was not as beautiful as we have seen in the past. The sun shining on the canyon walls is spectacular.

“The Southwest National Park tour was the trip of a lifetime for us. From start to finish, we were comfortable and had a fantastic experience. Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon, Zion, and the Grand Canyon were places we always wanted to go, but planning a trip was overwhelming. This tour did it all for us, and we had excellent guides to lead us. Our tour director, Brendan, did a fabulous job with all of us. He kept us informed every step of the way. “I enjoyed every minute of our NYC Theater tour. Our tour leader, Donna Rigton, was just fantastic. In addition to providing us with timely information, she entertained us with singing and even some dancing down the aisles when we were stuck in traffic. The choice of Broadway shows was excellent - each a different type of show. We saw so much of NY by way of a wonderful local tour and through visits to landmarks. Our free time was just enough to let us explore a few more things...or to rest. The hotel location was great - could walk to many attractions. The restuarant choices were good, And our coach driver was phenomenal. I don't know how he had to patience and the amazing skill to drive in that traffic. The icing on the cake was meeting a 9/11 survivor - a docent at the museum whom Donna became a friend last year. I highly recommend this trip!!”

“This tour was very historical/educational. Purchased books concerning 1776 and the civil war to brush up on hisory. I am sure after seeing the hisorical sites it will have more meaning. Enjoyed the guides that help explainn the back ground and hisory we were able to be part of. Bredan ddid a great job keeping up on time and getting us additional infoamtion of requested. I would like to recommend more than a day at the Capital to see more of the museums.”

My personal favorite was the Virginia International Military Tattoo - awesome! We like the care that goes into planning good itineraries, the quality of hotels, and full service option. “The California Coast tour was such a great experience. ACT is by far the best way to travel if you want to see all the best sights and stay in quality hotels and eat great food. Everything is handled for you as far as arrangements, baggage handling, reservations, tips, etc. You just go along for the ride and have a great time. Our tour director Donna was wonderful. She is kind, funny, very knowledgeable, and so efficient. She was born for this job, and you can tell she loves it. Our driver, Shimon can really drive that bus. He navigated that bus in some pretty tight areas and kept us safe the entire time. I will be traveling with American Classic tours again and I hope it will be soon.
