About ATS Diesel Performance:

From our humble beginnings as a general automotive transmission repair facility in 1993 to our industry-disrupting product releases in 2021, ATS Diesel Performance has remained a family owned and operated business. ATS Diesel Performance designs, engineers, manufactures and installs upgraded transmission components, exhaust manifolds, electronics and turbochargers for Cummins, Duramax and Powerstroke powered pickup trucks.

Founded by Clint Cannon in 1993, ATS Diesel Performance has earned a reputation for industry leading design and manufacturing processes. Beginning with our groundbreaking Triple Disk Torque Converter design, the TripleLok® Torque Converter, which quickly became the industry benchmark, to our cutting edge TRANSlator™ CAN-Bridge integration system, ATS Diesel Performance has been a constant innovator in an industry that is fueled by competition.

ATS Diesel Performance is located in Arvada, Colorado, at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Our location allows us to test our products under extreme conditions; year round temperatures range from -10° to over 100° and elevations can exceed 12,000 feet above sea level within a short drive of our facility. This combination of factors ensures that we are able to measure performance and functionality in the wide range of conditions that our customers will encounter in real world use.

“As of writing this up I haven’t got to run the exhaust. Just bolted up new turbo and I’m waiting on the new intercooler. I also purchased a new cold air intake so I’m hoping this changes the way my truck performs and sounds.”

“Poor customer service..5 to 10 business days to build product. Currently on my 13th day. Im very upset. My truck is my livelihood and that how I feed my family. Im self- employed and I can't work because truck is waiting on the part from them”

“WE installed these parts in my 2005 Ram 2500, and well...it solved the issues. Ok, so here's the rest of the story. I purchased the truck with a newly rebuilt 5.9. Engine runs like a champ. The transmission was shifting strangely. The code we pulled said the problem was with the Throttle Actuator...so, we changed it. That helped, but a new code showed up. In a jam, I ordered a part online and installed it. As soon as we did, the truck went into limp mode and was stuck in third gear. I had heard about the upgraded solenoid block conversion, so I ordered it. We installed it, reset the ECM, and went for a drive. It is incredible... the truck shifts like it's new. The size of this part compared to the stock part is good; you have to see it. The size and strength of the solenoid is impressive. Clearly, Dodge / Chrysler muffed the ball on sizing all of the solenoids in this transmission. I would highly recommend this kit to everyone running the 48RE. And, well, ATS is among the top sources for diesel parts.. Long live Cummins, and three cheers to ATS for solving a problem every 489RE has right now. Thanks”

“This is purchase was pretty upsetting, i didn't get what I payed for. I don't see how this is good business in any way. 1. I waited a month to even get it, even though their online store said I could pickup in store the day that I elected to have it shipped. ( I didn’t know at the time it was going to be a full month till I received it) 2. when I received it it had a welded piece (the piece that you mount the gear selector cable mount ing bracket to) on the bell housing (witch means that when I need a new transmission I will not get my core fee back) 3. The welded piece prevents me from being able to use it without modification. 4. If the transmission can't be mounted up properly, that tells me that the "Dino" that I was told I was waiting on that caused the extreme time delay didn't happen. Or if it did, they knowingly sent me a damaged/ bad transmission. I am still waiting on a call back to see what their proposed solution is. As of now I’m not satisfied, especially after paying a premium for a stage one transmission.”

Our website clearly states "Usually ready in 24 hours" for in-store pickup, not a guaranteed timeframe, and we regret any confusion this caused. We’re surprised you didn’t contact us before posting this review, as this would have allowed us to address your concerns directly. Regarding the welded piece on the bell housing, all our transmissions undergo strict quality checks to meet industry standards. If the product requires modification or affects the core fee, we need specific details to investigate.
