“The catch on my gas meter box fell apart. I contacted my energy supplier who advised they did not do meter boxes and referred me to a DIY store like "B and Q". I visited the store and asked an assistant, who having called several collegues on her headset, obtained the information that they do not supply one or the meter boxes. She had no advise who to contact. A complete waste of my time. For future note. CADENT have no interest but if the energy box needs replacing by a qualified gas engineer. The catch can be purchased for under £3 from Wolsey Plumbing. Dont waste your time with the so called experts at B and Q.”
“I would like to say how happy I was with Leicester b&q after being let down by my local store,I would especially like to say a big thank you to Vanessa who went above and beyond to help me,excellent customer service and very friendly, would highly recommend this store”
“Website showing in stock. Est 6 days for delivery (already an age). Almost a week late and still nothing arrived. Contacted BandQ today and was told it was out of stock and I'd need to contact the store (why?? The order was placed online). Contacted the store and was told the order had been cancelled 3 days after I placed it.
1. Selling items not in stock
2. Cancelled without telling me
3. Have to CALL the store to get a refund? 1990s methods surely?
4. I've now had 10 days without my item and have to now place the order elsewhere.
Bad company. If a big eccomerce disruptor comes into the market (like AO did for white goods) they're in trouble.”
“B&Q are a good diy store slightly pricey but have a wide range of products very good for paint, polite helpful staff however the checkout system always seems to be broken and in a Sunday causes a long wait to pay”
