I was generally satisfied with the service from Backdoor Shoes. Unfortunately, we ordered the wrong size and had to pay to return them. Which I found unusual for an online company. It seems a little harsh expecting a company to pay the postage for returns.

Ordered wellington boots but could not get them on. Was a real problem sending back as no returns label supplied and they not on Royal Mail list of shops.

The first pair were very large (size 5) I returned them and as per instructions I re-ordered size 4 and they are fine. Return instructions said I would be reimursed for the return. A month on I'm still waiting, Asked to review returns process easy or hard I would say stupid!

I really like the products but am very disappointed with the returns policy. Most internet sites offer free returns. I didn’t order the wrong size, but the size was too small. The returns advice of “Try and find someone to give them too instead of returning” is poor.
